Thursday

Well, I went to the funeral Tuesday. It was tough. I doubt there was a dry eye in the church. The pulpit was decorated in bright colors and baby/kids toys. The family wanted it to be a memorial service rather than a "funeral". They showed lots of photos of her and the father even got up and spoke, (not something I could not have done) They have been such a strong family through all of this. Pls pray for them.
Home today...Daughter had VBS in the am and then we brought home a friend for the afternoon. They went swimming, played wii, etc. Baked cookies for the kids. nothing real exciting, but a good day thus far.
