Monday....

Most of our lives are a series of images, they pass us by like towns on a highway. But sometimes a moment stuns us as it happens and we know that this instant is more than a fleeting image. We know that this moment, every part of it, will live on forever.

Sunday...

Every once in a while people step up, they rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you, and sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes, it can push pretty hard, but if you look close enough you find hope in the words of children, in the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, and if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

Thurs.Feb 7th, 2008

Off to the dentist this morning for Brandon. They are going to sedate him to work on him. I'm a little nervous but I like the place we are taking him, so it should be ok.
Depending on how he feels after his appointmant, I may take the kids shopping. They both are need of new clothes. Seems they have both had growth spurts....jeans and shirts are getting shorter. :)
Went to see a movie "The Bucket List" last night....my advice...rental at best. The previews had the best parts of the movie and that was it. Had some good moments, but long and drawn out before getting to the point of the movie and depressing. I thought it was going to be an uplifting movie about making the best of your last days. It had a few cute moments, but overall a letdown.
Taking Lexi and a friend out riding (horses) tonight if the weather behaves...it's supposed to rain on and off today.
Thats all for now......

Tuesday Feb 5th

If you knew could you try anything and not fail (and money was no object), what dream would you attempt?

More thoughts....(I love these)

Fondly. You see, Flaubert believed that anticipation was the purest form of pleasure... and the most reliable. And that while the things that actually happen to you would invariable disappoint, the things that never happened to you would never dim. Never fade. They would always be engraved in your heart with a sort of sweet sadness.

Oliver Wendell Holmes

Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: Many people die with their music still in them. Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time runs out.
