Saturday!

What a good day! We (my 2 kids and Hubby's cousin) went to Orlando today to a bead store!! www.bead-time.com AWESOME!! Loved it!! Owners were SOOO nice, prices were great and selection amazing! I'll be back!!
Also while in Orlando we took the kids to M&M World! Huge store with everything M&M and of course candy too!! This is a picture of them outside holding their "Build a Bears". They already had them, but they each got them new outfits at the Build a Bear store and we took pictures of them with their bears everywhere we went. (It will make a great album for Grandma who bought the bears):)

The other day I got a new earring display so I should have some new jewelry/earring pics up soon too. Plus I hope to make lots of new stuff with the beads I got today!!

Thursday

Well, I went to the funeral Tuesday. It was tough. I doubt there was a dry eye in the church. The pulpit was decorated in bright colors and baby/kids toys. The family wanted it to be a memorial service rather than a "funeral". They showed lots of photos of her and the father even got up and spoke, (not something I could not have done) They have been such a strong family through all of this. Pls pray for them.
Home today...Daughter had VBS in the am and then we brought home a friend for the afternoon. They went swimming, played wii, etc. Baked cookies for the kids. nothing real exciting, but a good day thus far.

Tuesday....

Today is the funeral for the little girl at church that passed away. The family has asked the people do not wear black but wear bright colors and make it a celebration of life rather than a depressing time. The strength this family has right now is amazing. Please keep them in your prayers today and in the days to come.

My daughter is at Vacation bible school this week in the mornings. So far she loves it. It's been so hot here lately though. They were playing outside yesterday at VBS and she burnt her back on the slide. :( She's ok, just surprising how hot it's been.

Off to do some laundry, organize my jewelry and get ready for the service.

Update...

Ok, well It's been over a week (almost 2) and so much has happened.
We had friends over on both July 3rd & 4th. It rained the 4th so we satyed inside and played Wii. If you don't have one I highly reccomend one. Great family entertainment!

Then this week a dear family at church lost their 16 month old daughter early Sat. morning (7-14-07) She had been found face down in the family swimming pool on Monday and sent to a near by hospital. She hung in there all week but finally went home to be with the Lord on Saturday. Such a sad time for this family and those of us that knew them and this precious little girl. Please pray for this family as they have alot ahead of them.

What else..... our daughter starts VBS Mon-Fri in the mornings for one week. This should be fun for her to get out of the summer rut or lack there of. She's been in past years and really loves it.

A local salon has agreed to display and sell my jewelry! They just opened a few months ago, they are in a great location and the people there are really sweet. Hopefully we will both do well.

I guess thats it for now, I'm sure there's more and it will come to me....
